OUR DIRECTOR
Our Director Mr. Derrick Spicer is an alumni of KEMPER MILITARY JUNIOR COLLEGE AND WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY where he learned to composed education-athletics. The Director and staff bring real-world experience and cutting-edge research into the DEA Program, ensuring that our student-athletes receive a top-quality education. Mr. Spicer have over 33 years of experience working in sports and education with thousands of student-athletes.

Our Head Coach Takashi Walker is an alumni of ASHFORD UNIVERSITY. Coach Walker is a former professional football player. He has 15 years of coaching experience at the professional, college, and high school level.
OUR ALUMNI
Our alumni Devan Hopkins is the first graduate of DEA Program Fall 2023. Devan was a leader on the field and off the field. Devan attends University of Southern and is on track to graduate with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology Dec 2025. Daytona Elite Academy help offers students opportunities for advancement.

Deven Thomas has done an outstanding job from 2023-2025. Deven is a leader with over 7 interceptions as a Defensive Back and has maintained over a 3.0 grade point average showing his leadership on and off the field.

Lekendrick Self quarterback 2023-2025 for the Warriors is 10-0 as a starter. Self passed for 26 touchdowns and rushed for 10 touchdowns. Lekendrick is maintaining a 2.5 grade point average at Baton Rouge Community College.

Robert Mondelli is one of DEA Program finest student athletes. Tight End/Punter has been a true leader by example. In the 2023 Football Season Robert helped with amazing performances. Mondelli will be attending Florida Atlantic University Fall 2025.
