RECRUTING UPDATE: VIERA HAWKS MICHAEL NAJDAWI COMMITS TO PLAY FOOTBALL AT THE DAYTONA ELITE ACADEMY: 

Viera Hawks Offensive Lineman Michael ‘Big Mike’ Najdawi has committed to play football at the Daytona Elite Academy. Mike chose Daytona Elite because it is close to home in Florida and they will help him achieve his goals of reaching the next level. The Daytona Elite Academy was created in 2022 and the football program launched one year later in 2023. Last season they lost just one game averaging 40-points per game on offense, so there is that for Michael as well. 

The Warriors have already developed a strong and growing reputation of developing players for the next level. This coming season the Academy will travel across several states and compete nationally in their conference.  Mike is exactly the type of player the Warriors love to develop. At 6’-5” 320-pounds, Mike is a strong run blocker who loves to work and he will fit right in. 

Big Mike was a key piece of a line that helped lead Viera to average 301 yards per game of offense with 176 of those on the ground and a return trip to the playoffs. For players looking to develop their games and get to the next level be like Mike and check out the Daytona Elite Academy .
